Alton Festival Workshop -Where Does A Writer’s Inspiration Come From?
As part of the Alton Wordfest, authors Leslie Tate
and Sue Hampton will run a pre-lunch
Inspiration Workshop and
talk about authorship during the meal.
In the pre-lunch workshop Leslie and Sue will describe their own
sources of creativity, touching on the natural world,
art/music/poetry, classic authors, people-watching and their own
loving relationship. During the meal itself, Sue and Leslie will
present a thought-provoking summary of what they’ve learned about
writing. The Inspiration
Workshop, 10.15 – 12.15, and lunch from 12.30 onwards is in the
Alton Grange Hotel GU34 4EG.

60s Evening - feel the raw 60s vibe with live band, buffet and ‘Me
Generation’ stories.
Leslie, together with
acoustic duo ‘Mouth on a Stick’, will present an evening of words
and music celebrating the wild, the innovative and the comic in 60s
culture. Entrance, £15, includes five star buffet.
